February 8th, 1999Mod Central Review!Sluggo over at Mod Central has reviewed Digital Paint again. His first review came under a previous release and he had many connection problems thus we received a less then favorable review. However with the release of Beta 5, Sluggo offered to review DP again and this time he was much more pleased with the mod. Thank you to Sluggo for carrying DP news and offering to review us again.
February 7th, 1999IRC Server ChangeDigital Paint has moved our IRC Channel to a different server. We are now on the GameNode Network. You can find us connecting to one of the servers listed on the GameNode page. I recommend using RI.GameNode.Net and mIRC. You can also use the Java Chat client linked in the navigation bar to your right.

February 4th, 1999Ground Force One to host DM TourneyClan Ground Force One (GFO) will be hosting a deathmatch tournament (called Heat) on Friday, February 5. It will begin at 7:30p est. It will consist of two 20-minute (no fraglimit) DM matches, with 10 people each, on pb2dm1 (they will be a different set of 10 people; we need 20 for this tournament). The top 5 players in each of these matches will continue to a final round. The three winners of the final round will determine the winners of the tournament. If you'd like to come, stop by #HeatDM on irc.rigamer.com on Friday before 7:30! Everything you need to know will be announced then.
Digital Paint Plan of ActionIn light of the recent Quake Innovations news I felt it necessary to outline Digital Paint's plan of action for the coming months.  We plan on finishing Digital Paint Paintball 2 and releasing a final version. Final means it will be the final client pack. If their are further bugs in the server code, then server updates will be released. Once Quake3 Arena is released we plan on putting together a conversion of Paintball 2 and releasing it as promptly as possible. After this we plan on turning our attention towards another project which is not yet public. We plan on keeping up our commitment to the Quake Paintball community for as long as they support us. Tech Support, Bug Fixes, and other services provided by the Digital Paint staff will continue as long as their is demand for it.
